Our Story
We first met in London after a brunch on the Southbank, on a rainy summer's day.
After just a few months, numerous house parties and a 5km run followed by chicken pesto pasta, it was the start of a beautiful love story, with Andy having to wear Maria's pyjamas after the run and wooing her by reorganising her kitchen.
Sharing a passion for travel, we both secured teaching jobs in Hong Kong and after just 8 months of knowing each other, emigrated to the far east. This has been our home now for four years and is very special to us. It is where we first lived together, where we got our first pet together, and where we continue to build our future with Lord Nelson (the cat).
Andy popped the question in December 2024 in Budapest one starry, magical evening outside the Fisherman's Bastion.
And now we can't wait to celebrate our marriage with all our friends and family in sunny Tenerife!
